As a result of their collaboration in the deployment of ringback tone solutions, NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS) and Wmode Inc. today announced that they have formalized their relationship and will work together to deliver cost-effective mobile entertainment applications. NMS' ringback tone solutions currently reach more than 170 million subscribers around the world, while Wmode provides content recruitment, marketing, distribution, managing, hosting and licensing of ringback tones and other content to mobile operators.
Wmode is among the companies that have joined with NMS to deliver an outstanding user experience through Mobile Place(TM) (http://www.nmscommunications.com/MobileServices), giving mobile operators a vehicle for simplifying and enriching the user experience, driving broad uptake of personalized mobile entertainment and other content services by their subscribers.
