Northwest Natural Gas Bottom Line Rises In Q4

(RTTNews) - Northwest Natural Gas (NWN) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $29.93 million, or $1.04 per share. This was higher than $28.28 million, or $1.00 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.98 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.0% to $240.42 million. This was up from $233.53 million last year.
