Notification Regarding Handelsbanken’s Holdings in SCA (publ)

Handelsbanken (STO:SHBA)(STO:SHBB) holds 15,145,124 class A shares in Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget, SCA (publ). This holding corresponds to 2.1 per cent of the capital and 10.3 per cent of the voting rights. Handelsbanken has today decided to explore the possibility of divesting the entire block of shares.

This process will be carried out by Handelsbanken Capital Markets and J P Morgan.

According to the Articles of Association, class A shares in SCA can be converted to class B shares.
