NTT Communications Extends Tier-1 Global IP Network To Marseille, France
(RTTNews) - NTT Communications Corp., the global data and IP services arm of Fortune Global 500 telecom leader NTT Group (NTT), said it would expand its Tier-1 Global IP Network with a new point-of-presence or PoP in Marseille, France.
Marseille is the interconnection point for eight international subsea cables that link Europe to Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
NTT Com's new PoP in Marseille will facilitate the delivery of reliable, high-quality wholesale IP services between these high-growth markets and Europe.
This new PoP is located at a major carrier-neutral facility, Interxion's data center MRS1, which houses a community of over 70 connectivity providers.
