Ontex: Transparency Declaration Notification

Ontex Group NV ("Ontex”) discloses the notifications of significant shareholdings that it has received according to the Belgian Law of 2 May 2007 on the disclosure of significant shareholdings in listed companies.

On 20 January 2016, Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, and its affiliated entities, notified Ontex that it had acquired 5,513,182 shares in Ontex and so had crossed the threshold of 7.50% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex to 7.64%.

According to its obligation Ontex publishes the content of the notifications that it has received.

Groupe Bruxelles Lambert is a company which is co-controlled by Albert Frère and Trust Familial Desmarais. On 9 November 2015, the company crossed the threshold of 7.5% in Ontex following its participation in Ontex’s capital increase on that day.
