Opexa Therapeutics Annual Loss Narrows

(RTTNews) - Opexa Therapeutics, Inc. (OPXA) Monday announced a narrower loss for the full year compared to the prior year, on higher weighted average shares outstanding.

The company recorded a net loss of $15.052 million or $0.54 per share for the 12-months ended December on average shares outstanding of 27.82 million. In the prior year, net loss was $16.656 million or $1.25 per share on average shares outstanding of 13.33 million.

For the full year, Opexa recorded revenue of $1.271 million, up from $1.266 million last year. Research and development expenses increased to $12.118 million from $9.181 million in the previous year.
