Orange 2015 Profit Almost Triples; Sees Higher EBITDA In 2016 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - French telecommunications operator Orange SA (ORAN) reported fiscal 2015 net income for the year attributable to equity holders of the group of 2.65 billion euros, up from 925 million euros in the prior year.

Restated EBITDA for the year was 12.43 billion euros, an increase of 0.1 percent on a comparable basis from 12.42 billion euros in the prior year. Restated EBITDA margin was 30.9 percent, up 0.1 percentage points from the prior year.

Revenues for the year were 40.24 billion euros, a decrease of 0.1 percent on a comparable basis from 40.28 billion last year.

Looking ahead to 2016, Orange now expects restated EBITDA higher than in 2015 on a comparable basis.

The Group confirmed the payment of a dividend of 0.60 euros per share for 2015. An interim dividend for 2015 of 0.20 euros per share was paid on 9 December 2015 and the balance of 0.40 euros per share will be paid on 23 June 2016.

The Group expects to propose a dividend of 0.60 euros per share for 2016. An interim dividend for 2016 of 0.20 euros per share should be paid in December.
