O'Reilly Automotive Q1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - O'Reilly Automotive, Inc. (ORLY), a leading retailer in the automotive aftermarket industry, reported first-quarter net income of $212.86 million or $2.06 per share, compared to $173.86 million or $1.61 per share, prior year.

On average, 23 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $1.94 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Sales increased to $1.90 billion from $1.73 billion last year. Analysts expected revenue of $1.86 billion for the quarter. Comparable store sales increased 7.2%.

For its second-quarter, the company expects: earnings per share in a range of $2.17 to $2.21. Analysts expect the company to report second-quarter earnings per share of $2.25.

For fiscal 2015, the company expects revenue in a range of $7.6 billion to $7.8 billion; and earnings per share in a range of $8.42 to $8.52. Analysts expect the company to report fiscal 2015 profit per share of $8.56 revenue of $7.74 billion.
