Ormat Technologies Q2 Profit Declines; Backs FY14 Revenue Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Ormat Technologies Inc. (ORA) Tuesday reported second-quarter net income attributable to company's stockholders of $9.1 million or $0.20 per share, compared to $25.2 million or $0.55 per share in the same period last year.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.33 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 16.4 percent to $127.60 million from $152.68 million last year, while three analysts expected revenues of $125.26 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal 2014, the company continues to expect revenues in the range of $540.0 million to $560.0 million. Analysts currently expect full-year revenues of $555.45 million.

On August 5, 2014, ORMAT's Board of Directors approved a payment of a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share pursuant to the company's dividend policy. The dividend will be paid on August 28, 2014 to shareholders of record as of closing of business on August 19, 2014.
