Papa John's International Earnings Rise 19% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Papa John's International (PZZA) revealed a profit for its third quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $21.47 million, or $0.57 per share. This was higher than $17.97 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.50 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.5% to $422.44 million. This was up from $389.28 million last year.
