Philips cardiovascular technology earns prestigious KLAS awards for the second consecutive year

Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHI) was recently recognized in the 2006 Top 20 Year End Best in KLAS Awards report. KLAS, an independent research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting performance of healthcare information technology vendors, announced that the Philips CALYSTO technology was named the KLAS Specialty Niche Category Leader for Cardiology Hemodynamics. In addition, this Philips solution achieved "Best in KLAS” for Cardiology PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
