Piedmont Natural Gas Sees FY14 EPS Below Estimates - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Energy services firm Piedmont Natural Gas Co. Inc. (PNY) Friday said it expects earnings per share for its fiscal year ending October 31, 2014 to be in the range of $1.73 to $1.83.

On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $1.86 per share for the fiscal. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

According to the company, the guidance reflects assumptions including higher utility margin, gross utility customer additions of about 1.5% in the company's three state market area, and capital expenditures in the range of $425 to $475 million.
