Piper Jaffray Adds Dustin Avey to Public Finance Services Team in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. announces that Dustin Avey has joined the firm as vice president in investment banking for Public Finance Services. Avey will service public finance issuers in the Midwest working out of the firm's Kansas City office.

Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, Dustin was a public finance banker at Hutchinson Shockey in Milwaukee where he worked on local government and school district financings and assisted in creating, implementing and financing tax increment district project plans. He also previously worked as an analyst at Strong Capital Management.
