Premier Farnell Appoints Andrea Dunstan as New Chief People Officer

Dunstan's leadership development and talent management skills underline company's commitment to developing global talent

Premier Farnell [LON:PFL], one of the world's leading high service distributors of electronic components, has today reaffirmed its commitment to developing talent and leadership around its global businesses by announcing the appointment of Andrea Dunstan as its new Chief People Officer.

Andrea, who joins Premier Farnell on 2 September, has over 20 years experience in human resources. Her success in delivering complex global change projects, leading and developing international teams from roles in a wide range of business sectors were key to her appointment. She will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Laurence Bain and will be a key part of the Global Executive Team.

Andrea is the Founder of Elevate, an organisation specialising in the development of bespoke HR solutions for business. Prior to founding Elevate, Andrea was Group HR Director of Wincanton plc, the international logistics group and previously enjoyed a successful career with AstraZeneca plc, the global pharmaceutical company. Her commercial expertise, generalist HR capability and in depth HR specialist knowledge covers many other industry sectors, including retail, manufacturing and financial services where she was the HR Director, responsible for Customer Service and Delivery, at Barclays.
