Komax is strengthening its position in the taping technology segment by acquiring Ondal Taping Processing. The move also further consolidates the company's standing as a total solution provider to the wire processing industry.

Founded 35 years ago, Ondal Taping Processing employs about 20 people and is a global leader in the development of machinery for the user-guided and program-controlled bundling and taping of wire harnesses. The company is based in Germany.

By acquiring Ondal, Komax is further expanding its Wire business unit's position as a supplier of sophisticated solutions for every stage of its customers' value chain.
