PTC Inc. Reveals 33% Gain In Q2 Profit

(RTTNews) - PTC Inc. (PTC) revealed a profit for its second quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $34.76 million, or $0.30 per share. This was higher than $26.16 million, or $0.23 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.28 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.6% to $280.71 million. This was up from $273.69 million last year.
