Quantum Materials Names Founder Stephen Squires Chairman, CEO

(RTTNews) - Quantum Materials Corp (QTMM), a developer of quantum dots and nanomaterials, announced Tuesday that the company's founder and Quantum Materials Asia CEO Stephen Squires was appointed as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He replaces outgoing CEO and Director Sri Peruvemba.

Squires said, "In response to many of our concerned shareholders, I also want to clarify that I do not intend to pursue most of the items in the most recent proxy filing, including the reverse split, preferred shares, nor the move to incorporate in Delaware."

?Squires founded Quantum Materials Corp over eight years ago. The company said it focuses on developing its high volume QD manufacturing process in order to produce quantum dots at extremely competitive price points.

Squires added that the company is now moving its best materials into high-volume production and working closely with its film partners to develop market-ready products.
