Real Industry Appoints Michael Hobey To Succeed Kyle Ross As CFO

(RTTNews) - Real Industry, Inc. (RELY) announced late Thursday that it has appointed Michael Hobey as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Kyle Ross who had been appointed as President, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer on August 19.

Hobey, 43, has served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company's indirect subsidiary Real Alloy Holding, Inc., since the business' acquisition in February 2015. He has more than ten years of industry experience in a variety of senior level financial positions.

Prior to joining Real Alloy, Hobey served as Chief Financial Officer of the predecessor entity known as Global Recycling & Specification Alloys at Aleris International, Inc.. Hobey joined Aleris in June 2006, serving as Vice President, Corporate Development, through July 2009 when he was named Vice President and Treasurer.
