Redcare Pharmacy Announces New Approach To Redeem E-Prescriptions Via GesundheitsID, Stock Down

(RTTNews) - Redcare Pharmacy NV (SAEYY.PK), Wednesday announced structural changes in e-prescriptions redeemed digitally, introducing a new approach for patients in Germany to redeem their e-prescriptions via the GesundheitsID or digital health identity, effective April 2026.

Simultaneously, Gematik, the German National Agency for Digital Medicine, is working on a successor to CardLink that will also be built on Proof of Patient Presence or PoPP solution.

Olaf Heinrich, CEO of Redcare Pharmacy, stated that these changes will offer a simple, secure and mobile way to the patients to redeem their e-prescriptions using the electronic health card without a PIN.

Currently, Redcare's stock is moving down 10.45 percent, to $12 on the OTC Markets.
