Rent-A-Center Profit Climbs 5% In Q4
(RTTNews) - Rent-A-Center (RCII) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.
The company said its bottom line advanced to $28.47 million, or $0.54 per share. This was higher than $27.01 million, or $0.51 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.52 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.4% to $793.83 million. This was down from $797.12 million last year.
