Richard Yanowitch Appointed Vice Chairman of NDS Group plc.

Mr Richard Yanowitch, a consultant to News Corporation, brings tothe NDS Board a wealth of Silicon Valley experience, and will adviseNDS on the expansion of its US operations and the development ofstrategic partnerships.

Mr Yanowitch is the founder of The Entrepreneurs Group, a privatefirm that advises companies on business strategy, and technologyinnovation in the Internet era. Previously Mr Yanowitch served fornearly five years as Executive Vice President of Verisign Inc. Priorto that Mr Yanowitch spent six years at Sybase Inc, primarily as VicePresident Corporate Marketing.

Mr Yanowitch received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1987and a BA in the Honors Program for Classical Studies at SwarthmoreCollege in 1981.
