Rockwell Collins Bottom Line Drops 21% In Q1
(RTTNews) - Rockwell Collins (COL) announced earnings for first quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line dropped to $133 million, or $1.00 per share. This was lower than $169 million, or $1.26 per share, in last year's first quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.00 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.9% to $1.17 billion. This was down from $1.23 billion last year.
