Ryder System Inc. Bottom Line Declines 26% In Q1

(RTTNews) - Ryder System Inc. (R) announced a profit for first quarter that retreated from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $44.2 million, or $0.82 per share. This was lower than $60.1 million, or $1.12 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.4% to $1.75 billion. This was up from $1.63 billion last year.
