ScanSource Inc. Reveals 31% Retreat In Q4 Earnings

(RTTNews) - ScanSource Inc. (SCSC) reported earnings for fourth quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings came in at $13.1 million, or $0.51 per share. This was lower than $19.0 million, or $0.66 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.71 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.4% to $877.5 million. This was up from $856.7 million last year.
