SciClone Names Wilson Cheung CFO, Senior VP Finance - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Specialty pharmaceutical company SciClone Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SCLN), Monday said it appointed Wilson Cheung as chief financial officer and senior vice president - Finance. Cheung will be reporting to CEO Friedhelm Blobel. Cheung's experience spans over financial management, SEC and SOX 404 financial reporting for publicly traded international companies, as well as corporate governance and compliance, operations management, corporate development and investor relations.

Cheung served most recently as chief compliance officer - Asia Pacific of Velti plc, and took the company public on its Nasdaq IPO when he was chief financial officer. Cheung also donned many senior roles at AXT, Inc, InterWAVE Communications International Ltd., Yahoo!, Deloitte, etc.
