SDL Chief Delivery Officer Joins TAUS Advisory Board

WAKEFIELD, Massachusetts and MAIDENHEAD, England, March 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --

Silke Zschweigert to serve as a valuable contributor to the TAUSmission ofimproving translation standards worldwide 

SDL (LSE:SDL) today announced its Chief Delivery Officer, Silke Zschweigert, has been appointed as an Advisory Board member of the Translation Automation User Society (TAUS).

TAUS was founded in 2005 as a think tank for innovation in the translation industry. Today, TAUS serves as a resource center for the global language and translation industries, with a mission to enable better translation through innovation and automation.

Zschweigert, who holds a Master's degree in Translation for Dutch, English, German and Chinese, makes a valuable addition to the TAUS Advisory Board, considering her practical insight into the daily use of language and Machine Translation technology. In her role as Chief Delivery Officer at SDL, Zschweigert ensures the right processes, systems and people are in place to deliver powerful language services to customers across the globe.
