Shanda Games Q1 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Shanda Games Limited (GAME) said that its net income attributable to shareholders for the first quarter declined to RMB305.7 million or $49.7 million, from RMB367.6 million in the comparable quarter last year. Earnings per ADS for the first quarter were RMB1.12 or $0.18, compared with RMB1.36 last year.

On a Non-GAAP basis, net income attributable to shareholders was RMB334.3 million or $54.3 million, down from RMB397.9 million last year. Earnings per ADS were RMB1.24 or $0.20, compared with RMB1.48 in the prior year.

Quarterly net revenues were RMB992.1 million or $161.3 million, a decrease of 9.6% from RMB1.097.6 billion in the first quarter of 2013.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report revenues of $188.26 million for the quarter.
