Skyworks Solutions Inc. Q3 Income Advances 23%

(RTTNews) - Skyworks Solutions Inc. (SWKS) released earnings for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $292.7 million, or $1.57 per share. This was higher than $238.1 million, or $1.24 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.52 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 19.8% to $900.8 million. This was up from $751.7 million last year.
