Solera Acquires Chile's Servicios Informaticos Serinfo

(RTTNews) - Solera Holdings Inc. (SLH), the provider of software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing industry, Tuesday announced the acquisition of Servicios Informaticos Serinfo S.A. in Chile. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Serinfo is Chile's leading provider of dealership and bodyshop management systems. The Serinfo platform enables customers to improve operations and communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the purchase and care of vehicles, including the vehicle owner.

"Combining Serinfo and Solera platforms will strengthen the power of our bundle in Chile and create a vehicle ownership platform with functionality across the entire automobile cycle including sale, insurance and maintenance," said Tony Aquila, Solera's chief executive officer.
