Solera Holdings Q1 Profit Down - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Solera Holdings Inc. (SLH) Wednesday reported first-quarter profit of $13.7 million or $0.20 per share, down from $33.6 million or $0.48 per share in the same period last year.
On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.56 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues increased to $218.0 million from $195.7 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $213.18 million.
Looking ahead, to the fiscal year 2014, the company has raised its earnings outlook to a range of $2.28 to $2.35 per share from $2.41 to $2.48 per share, issued previously.
Revenues are projected in the range of $898 million to $906 million, up from its previous guidance range of $882 million to $890 million. Analysts currently expect the company to report full-year earnings of $2.34 per share on revenues of $889.09 million.
