Sonic Corp Reports 23% Rise In Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - Sonic Corp (SONC) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $23.12 million, or $0.43 per share. This was higher than $18.83 million, or $0.34 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.42 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.0% to $175.27 million. This was up from $163.77 million last year.
