Stanley Furniture Q3 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Stanley Furniture Co., Inc. (STLY) reported third-quarter net loss of $2.5 million, or $0.17 per share, wider than $1.9 million, or $0.13 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Adjusted net loss for the quarter widened to $2.5 million, or $0.17 per share from $2.0 million or $0.14 per share in the year-ago period. On average, two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.11 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales for the latest third quarter rose to $23.982 million from $23.977 million a year ago, while two analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $25.32 million for the third quarter.
