Stephen Harris Named President of Abri Health Plan
Abri Health Plan announced today that Stephen Harris has been named president. In his new role, Harris will be responsible for Abri operations, as well as the implementation and execution of various strategic initiatives. Abri currently has 28,000 members enrolled in its health plan.
"I am thrilled to join the team at Abri Health Plan,” said Stephen Harris, president of Abri Health Plan. "I am looking forward to bringing my health care industry experience and adding to Abri’s success as we continue to grow and offer our members the highest quality services possible.”
Previous to Abri, Harris joined Molina Healthcare in 2009 to work on market development and acquisition/integration activities. He also was executive vice president and chief financial officer of United American Healthcare Corporation, a Medicaid managed care company, and a manager at Deloitte. After obtaining his bachelor of arts degree in accounting at Michigan State University, he received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Harris is also a certified public accountant and joins Abri with over 14 years of finance, accounting and healthcare experience.
