Steve Nelson Joins Cardinal Bank as Commercial Services Executive

Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) announced today that Steve Nelson has joined Cardinal Bank as Commercial Services Executive. Nelson’s primary focus will be growing business deposits in Prince William County and providing complimentary cash management products and services to help our clients operate most efficiently.

Nelson brings over 20 years of financial services experience to Cardinal, most recently as a Financial Consultant with Financial West Group. Prior to joining Cardinal, Nelson was President of Junction Travel. A longtime resident of Manassas, Nelson has a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Additionally, Nelson has a Certificate for Personal Financial Planning from American College.

Nelson is a board member of the Prince William County/Manassas Convention & Visitors Bureau representing the City of Manassas and serves as Chairman of the Board. He serves on the board the Prince William Chamber of Commerce; is the former chair of the Manassas Business Council, and has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bull Run since 1997.
