Suntech to Host Analyst and Investor Day at Headquarters in Wuxi, China on December 11, 2007

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Nov. 2 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. , one of the world's leading manufacturers of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules, today announced that, in conjunction with the opening of its new 1GW facility, it will host an Analyst and Investor Day in Wuxi, China on Tuesday, December 11, 2007.

The event will consist of management presentations about Suntech's recent developments and plans to develop Suntech's manufacturing capability, high efficiency PV cell technology, procurement platform, upstream and downstream strategies and relationships. Speakers will include Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Zhengrong Shi, Chief Financial Officer Amy Yi Zhang, Chief Technology Officer Stuart Wenham, Chief Operations Officer Graham Artes, and Chief Strategy Officer Steven Chan. Suntech's senior executives will lead guests on a tour of the new 540,000 square foot manufacturing facility which will eventually accommodate approximately 1GW of PV cell production lines.

Wuxi is located approximately 128 kilometers (80 miles) west of Shanghai in southern Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China.
