SunTrust Banks Inc. Reveals 20% Gain In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - SunTrust Banks Inc. (STI) reported earnings for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $519 million, or $1.00 per share. This was up from $433 million, or $0.81 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.5% to $2.06 billion. This was up from $2.03 billion last year.
