SuperSonic Imagine has installed three Aixplorer ultrasound systems in the Pays d’Aix Hospital

SuperSonic Imagine (Euronext: SSI, FR0010526814), a company specializing in ultrasound medical imaging, is pleased to announce the installation of three Aixplorer ultrasound systems in the Pays d’Aix Hospital, main hospital of Aix-en-Provence area.

With the ongoing aim of providing all of its patients with the most innovative technology, the Pays d’Aix Hospital brought in three Aixplorer ultrasound systems to be used for general imaging, breast screening and urology.

Aixplorer, which has been on the market since 2009, is the only ultrasound system equipped with ShearWave Elastography™¹. This innovation provides physicians with quantitative information on the stiffness of tissue in real time and in a non-invasive manner. This can be extremely useful in the detection and characterization of lesions in the diagnosis and monitoring of various pathologies.
