Swedbank appoints Elisabeth Beskow and Ola Laurin Heads of Large Corporates & Institutions

Elisabeth Beskow and Ola Laurin have been appointed Co-Heads of Swedbank (STO:SWEDA)(OSE: SWED)(LSE:SWK) Large Corporates & Institutions. Both will be members of the Group Executive Committee and will report to CEO Birgitte Bonnesen.

Swedbank is today one of the key providers of financial services to large corporations and institutions in the Nordics. Elisabeth Beskow, until today Head of Investment Banking, and Ola Laurin, until today Head of Financial Institutions, have both taken active part in the success of Large Corporates and Institutions.

"I want a leadership that takes our Large Corporates & Institutions-business to the next level. Reviewing the situation, I came to the conclusion that the current environment requires new ways of working and increased collaboration. Together Elisabeth Beskow and Ola Laurin have the experiences and the competences necessary to focus both on client relationships and on transforming the business, which will be the key to succeed in the years ahead, says CEO Birgitte Bonnesen.

The changes will be effective as of 1 May, 2016.
