Swift Transportation's Albuquerque Terminal Receives the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence for 2011
Swift Transportation Company (NYSE: SWFT) (http://www.swifttrans.com), a multifaceted transportation services company and the largest truckload carrier in North America, would like to congratulate the Albuquerque, N.M., terminal shop for the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence for 2011.
The ASE Certification recognizes technicians that have taken and passed written exams to demonstrate their expertise in truck repair and dedication to continuing education. The ASE Blue Seal of Excellence recognizes a facility that has a high number of ASE Certified Technicians. To qualify, a minimum of 75 percent of technicians performing diagnosis and repairs must be ASE certified. Each area of service must also be covered by at least one ASE Certified Technician excluding service consultants, estimators, lube technicians, helpers and administrative personnel.
For 2011, Swift's Albuquerque Terminal has qualified with 83 percent of its technicians ASE certified in all areas of service provided. This year’s qualification includes: four Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technicians and two L2 Advanced Level Specialist Technicians on staff.
