Synergy Pharma Loss Narrows - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc. (SGYP) Friday reported second-quarter net loss of $10 million or $0.11 per share, compared to a net loss of $10.6 million or $0.17 per share last year.
Results for the quarter included one-time gains of $0.01 per share, compared to a loss of $0.03 per share a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated a loss of $0.23 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company did not record any revenues for the quarter, just as in the prior year.
