Sysco Corp. Q1 adjusted earnings Miss Estimates

(RTTNews) - Sysco Corp. (SYY) reported earnings for its first quarter that rose from the same period last year.

The company's earnings came in at $431.04 million, or $0.81 per share. This compares with $367.64 million, or $0.69 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Excluding items, Sysco Corp. reported adjusted earnings of $479.22 million or $0.91 per share for the period.
