Teekay Corporation Q4 Profit Drops 3%

(RTTNews) - Teekay Corporation (TK) released earnings for fourth quarter that decreased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line fell to $29.81 million, or $0.41 per share. This was down from $30.67 million, or $0.42 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.37 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 28.5% to $700.11 million. This was up from $544.99 million last year.
