Terex Q3 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Terex Corp. (TEX) Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $89.3 million or $0.77 per share, up from $30.2 million or $0.27 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings from continuing operations were $0.62 per share. On average, 19 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.59 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Sales dropped 0.6 percent to $1.81 billion from $1.82 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $1.94 billion.

Looking ahead, the company has raised its full-year earnings outlook to a range of $2.05 to $2.25 per share from its previous guidance of $1.90 to $2.10 per share.
