Tetra Tech Wins Multi-Order Contract For Upto $416 Mln From USAID

(RTTNews) - Consulting and engineering services provider Tetra Tech Inc., (TTEK) Monday said it has received an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from US Agency for International Development, to support it with its PROMOTE project.

Over the last decade, PROMOTE- Promoting Gender Equity in National Priority Programs Project has been directed towards improving the educational and decision-making abilities of young women, as part of the gender equality project, in Afghanistan.

The USAID has committed to pay $216 million, the company said in a statement. Donors to the project can contribute up to an additional $200 million.

The first task order, for $42 million, under this multi-contract order is to aid in development of women's leadership skills, within Afghanistan's largest cities, to help them in public, private and civil service sectors careers.
