The Fourth Annual a-list awards Proudly Presented by athome Magazine and Moffly Media

STAMFORD, Conn., Aug. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Moffly Media is excited to present the 4th annual a-list awards on Thursday, September 12^th from 6-9 p.m. Regarded as Fairfield County's premier home and design competition, this gala event will be held at The Palace Theater in Stamford.  Our prestigious and talented winners will be celebrated with an elegant cocktail reception catered by Urban Chic, followed by an exciting awards presentation hosted by designer and former judge Eric Cohler.  This year we are proud to announce that the 4^th annual a-list awards will be benefiting the Lyme Research Alliance, with a portion of the proceeds going to this deserving cause. 

This event is helped to be made possible by our title sponsor ABC Worldwide Stone, and presenting sponsors; White Birch Studio, Tischler und Sohn, MS Design Ct Inc., and Hobbs, Incorporated. Transportation for our judges will be provided by Leros Point to Point limousine service.

The submissions for a-list entries appeared on Moffly Media's website this past Spring, in addition to ads being presented in all of Moffly Media's publications which include: Greenwich, Westport, New Canaan | Darien, Stamford, athome in Fairfield County and Fairfield Livingmagazines.  We are pleased to announce our judges; Jennifer Post, Vicente Wolf, Peter Pennoyer, Gisue Hariri, Richard Hartlage, Thom Filicia, Katie Ridder, and Edmund Hollander.

The categories for which our winners are nominated within include: Living Spaces, Kitchen Design, Bath Design, Bedroom, Dining Room, Kids' Space/Playroom, Kid's Bedroom, Traditional Architecture (Less than 7,000 square feet), Traditional Architecture (greater than 7,000 square feet), Modern Architecture, Renovation, Entryways (foyers), Pool House, Landscape (Greater than One Acre), Landscape (Less than One Acre) and Historical Home Renovation (Built before 1925). 

A special event program will be bound into athome and Moffly Media's September issues. This program will announce the finalists in each category and will include photos of their projects.  The November/December issue of athome will feature a detailed editorial spread with photography of the winners and the event itself.

In addition to the a-list awards,Moffly Media is also proud to annually host Women In Business, The Best of the Gold Coast Connecticut, Light a Fire and Best of Greenwich event.
