The PAWS Pet Company, Inc. (OTCQB:PAWS), today announced that as part of its ongoing transition from the pet space to the pharmaceutical space, the Company has begun the process of changing its name to Praxsyn Corporation and will also change its state of incorporation from Illinois to Nevada.

(OTCQB:PAWS), today announced that as part of its ongoing transition from the pet space to the pharmaceutical space, the Company has begun the process of changing its name to Praxsyn Corporation and will also change its state of incorporation from Illinois to Nevada.

The PAWS Pet Company, Inc. (OTCQB:PAWS), as part of its strategy to become a major player in the delivery of pharmaceutical products to consumers, has decided to change its name and state of incorporation. To that end, the name Praxsyn Corporation has been reserved with the Nevada Secretary of State and the Company has begun the work of complying with all relevant regulatory and supervisory agencies and organizations.

The Company also intends to unveil its new website, http://www.praxsyn.com, within the coming weeks.

In regards to our ongoing negotiations with Pharmacy Development, Inc. dba MESA Pharmacy ("MESA"), the parties are continuing their work towards finalizing an agreement in the timeliest manner possible; and in order to satisfy the regulatory requirement to furnish consolidated financial statements within seventy-five days of the closing of a material acquisition, the parties have decided to create a joint venture, with an intended acquisition after the completion of an audit of MESA's financial statements.
