The Washington Post to Hold Career Fair for Engineering, Technology and Security Clearance Positions
With the Washington region still having a higher-than-usual unemployment rate, The Washington Post will gather top employers trying to fill technical and analytic jobs at a Career Fair on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 11am to 5pm. The event will be held at The Washington Post located at 1150 15th Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20071.
The Washington Post Career Fair provides an organized forum for candidates to interview and network with local companies seeking to hire Cybercom Specialists, CRM/ERP Analysis/Engineering, Technical Writers, Construction Management, Web Developers and others. Exhibitors include Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Chipton Ross, Inc., ICF International, InfoTek Corporation, Lockheed Martin, The Mitre Corporation, NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation, Strategic Analysis, Inc., Southwest Research Institute, Tennessee Valley Authority, United States Customs and Border Protection Information Technology Center, and more. These employers will require an active security clearance.
Attendees are asked to bring hard copies of their resumes. Free resume screening and tips will also be provided by Anointed Words from 11am to 4pm.
The Washington Post will host its next career fair for the aforementioned industries in addition to healthcare and professional general employers on January 26, 2011 at the Dulles Convention Center.
