Toyota June US Sales Up 3.3% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Toyota Motor Corp. (TM) Tuesday reported a 3.3 percent increase in US June sales to 201.714 units from 195,235 units last year. On a DSR basis, TMS sales were up 11.9 percent from last year.

Toyota division sales in June climbed 2.5 percent year-over-year to 178,196 units and Lexus reported June sales of 23,518 units, a 19.3 percent increase on a DSR and a 10.1 percent increase on a raw-volume basis, both year-over-year.

Toyota division car sales grew 4.9 percent to 101,797 units, on growth at Corolla and Camry brands. Lexus car sales rose 13.2 percent to 13,056 units.

Toyota division truck sales were down 0.6 percent at 76,399.

Lexus division truck sales climbed 6.5% to 10.462 units.
