TransDigm Names Terrance Paradie CFO

(RTTNews) - Aerospace components maker TransDigm Group Incorporated (TDG) on Thursday named Terrance Paradie as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Paradie would replace Greg Rufus, who has announced his intention to retire in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2016.

Greg will work closely with Paradie to ensure a smooth transition, and will assist CEO Nicholas Howley in managing TransDigm's growth, grooming the next generation of management and utilizing his skills on varios projects, the company said.

Paradie was most recently EVP and CFO for mining company Cliffs Natural Resources. In his about seven year career at Cliffs, Paradie also had served as senior vice president, corporate controller/and operating responsibility for two domestic iron ore mines.
