Tronox Q3 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Tronox Ltd. (TROX, TROX.PK) Wednesday reported third-quarter net loss attributable to the company of $49 million or $0.43 per share, wider than $3 million or $0.03 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted loss for the quarter was $55million or $0.48 per share, compared to net income of $24 million or $0.20 per share in the prior year quarter. On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.13 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Sales increased to $491 million from $487 million last year, while six analysts expected revenues of $485.79 million.
